Lea Moro
You find yourself in an urban habitat, in a city. The warm asphalt throbs and vibrates. We touch upon the musty soil, smell smoke, and connect ourselves to the movements of the hydrogen molecules in the air. The audience will embark on a diverse audio performance walk in and around tanzhaus nrw, together with the performers, in Ohren sehen (Ears See). With pricked-up ears, they listen to the urban environment: Who lives there in the ground, and who whispers from the sewerage junctions? Why does the air tremble? And who will dance with us, on naked concrete? The city is a habitat for many creatures. And we are right among them constantly.
Ohren sehen follows up on Alle Augen Staunen as Lea Moro’s second choreographic work for a young audience. On a polyphonic journey from the theatre heading outward, the audience will encounter several creatures which speak for themselves. Listening as a mode of responsible, cooperative community with our environment becomes a direct experience.
