I am pain and I am joy, I am anger and I am death, I am guilt and I am mercy, I am armed and I am a muse, I am milk, I am the beginning, silence, I am everything and nothing, I am hate and beauty, I am misery and I am life.

Anger. Exhaustion. Motherhood. Choreographer Reut Shemesh and her team explore the complexity of mother-daughter-relationships up to the notion of mothers as dragons – strong, furious, and tired all the same. Shemesh binds performers of different gender, ages and life experiences to widen conventional concepts: Personal experience crashes unto social stereotypes and the clichés that often define motherhood.
