Performance Night

The Performance Night moves Urban Styles into the stage context and shows urban dance cultures in an experimental format. Several teams of dancers of various styles face the challenge to develop a short choreography or a freestyle within the time of only three hours at the day of the performance itself, to be presented right there on the big stage. The focus lies on creative work within the team, experimenting together, and the encounters of different dance styles. The evening’s opening will be provided by one of tanzhaus nrw’s youth companies: A format that unites spontaneity and artistic expression as it celebrates the moment.
