Communication is content (in space) Scenographic practice in dance

Making a dance as if you are a scenographer and designing a set as if you are a choreographer. During a talk after or before their performance HOUSE OF LABRYS, the artist duo IevaKrish would like to concentrate on the second part of this statement. Artists will share their positive and negative experience and ideas on how scenography might exist outside of traditional space of a theatre, how it can facilitate communication between audience and the space through the process of implicit invitations, how it has a potential to be a set of ideas, experiences, and concepts rather than just objects. 

“Communication is content” is a term somewhat borrowed from visual artist Olafur Eliasson (“Contact is content”) and for artist duo IevaKrish describes a practice where communication between a performer, a space, members of audience and another performer is highlighted and becomes the content of the experience.
