#BestPracticesInContemporaryDance

Hybrid Installation by Jorge Guevara & Naoto Hieda

Together with artists Naoto Hieda and Jorge Guevara, the visitors can participate in the web screening #BestPracticesInContemporaryDance. Starting with the first lockdown, Naoto Hieda (Cologne) and Jorge Guevara (Brussels) have been meeting online in weekly intervals. While they do, they stream, distort, and change the videos from their webcams with the help of commercial as well as open-source software, merging their bodies in pixel space.

Blue Sky Academy #331C

Online Virtual Portal with VR glasses by Choy Ka Fai

Blue Sky Academy #331C is an online virtual portal to promote Siberian Shamanism as a contemporary form of spiritual practice. The academy proposed a discursive space to re-surface an alternative worldview of the shamans and provides a series of a supernatural dance experiences with digital shamans, visual documentaries and rendered worlds.

Connected Realities

VR Installation by Giorgi Gedevadinize, Phaidon Gialis und Seongmin Yuk

“Who can see what I see in this moment here and now?” In the VR installation Connected Realities, a visitor group constructs a tower from coloured cardboard boxes. The difficulty: They all wear VR goggles that project the situation from another visitor’s perspective. Through the self-constructed VR goggles, a proprietary development, A sees what B sees and B sees what C sees and C sees what A sees.
