with DJ Joseph Wu & David Parish

Jam Session
Foyer + Online
Dates
03.09.2021

Let's party! The meeting formats for the urban scene, such as the Performance Session, the Circle Session as well as the House Session, normally regular fixtures at tanzhaus nrw, could not take place during the pandemic. With this jam session, the space opens again to host dance exchange, try-outs, and mutual empowerment. During the jam session, we will meet in a safer space, where the passion for dance is at the foreground.

The jam session will be held live with DJs Joseph Wu and David Parish at tanzhaus nrw. David Parish started dancing in 2011, and with him also taking a place behind the decks since 2015, his Nani?! Kollektiv, composed of seven DJs, David Parish has been introducing several different new sounds into the community.

DJ Joseph Wu was born in Eritrea and currently resides in Wuppertal. He is an established resident DJ at dance circles and dance battles around the globe, considered an expert in hip hop music with which to create vibes and atmosphere. You will be able to register for participation on our website, starting in mid-August. Additionally, the jam session will be livestreamed into the net, enabling digital participation.
