Digital Network Meeting Vol. 2.0 – Urban Dance on Stage

Collective nutrospektif and tanzhaus nrw invite you to the second digital network meeting “Urban Dance on Stage”. Following the first exchange in December 2020, we will continue the joint discourse. The focus of this second network meeting will be on mutual exchange, discussion with experts of urban dance in a stage setting as well as on interactive programme topics such as an online DJ jam session.

Urban stage productions have been visible nationwide, in theatres and cultural institutions, for quite a while. Yet despite the efforts of the urban actors to actively promote their art form, creating productions, it lacks a dedicated lobby or an exchange platform for networking and cooperative, enduring strengthening. nutrospektif – Factory Artists at tanzhaus nrw since 2020, alongside Reut Shemesh and Alfredo Zinola – would like to enter into a joint dialogue on individual and collective experience with the urban scene and everyone else who is interested. During the network meeting, with its programme taking place over the course of two consecutive days in this edition, they will discuss the connected processes, obstacles and progress made, through panels, break-out sessions and keynote speeches held by experts, aiming to create new perspectives together.
