Constellation of the flesh
Media artist Choy Ka Fai, former tanzhaus nrw Factory Artist, joins forces with Mária Júdová, specialist in the connection of virtual reality and dance, for his new work. They explore the possibilities of a supernatural artistic experience and the application of digital dance techniques. Inspired by the concept of posthuman choreography, the project deals with the choreographic expression of trance in shamanist movements. Can we digitise the dance of the supernatural? Can we transform those trance fragments into a sensory experience?
