Based on a nutrospektif & friends input and our own dance material, we focus on developing creative movement patterns. we focus on the development of creative movement patterns. Through different choreographic approaches, such as working with isolation and abstraction, we change and extend the given movement vocabulary and expand it. What influence do music, space, time, and dynamics have? And where does our attention shift to? With Center of Attention, we enter a process-oriented movement laboratory and create a common space to experiment and reflect. space to experiment and reflect. No matter what urban dance style, there is something for everyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone and, as with all freestyle dances, to explore and, as with all freestyle dances, to bring in their own creativity, experience and personality.
About the Center of Attention Lab, Viola says, "On six levels we go into improvisations with playfully created movement patterns, co-created by music, space, and fellow dancers. How much do I show of myself in my own dance material? How versatile am I in it? Where does attention lie when I freestyle?"
