Biannual festival tanz nrw, already in its ninth incarnation, will again provide intense insight into current developments within North Rhine-Westphalia’s dance scene. It will present remarkable pieces by 21 choreographers and collectives living in North Rhine-Westphalia, in nine cities from May 4th until May 14th. tanzhaus nrw will show three productions from May 5th until May 13th – among them, during the first weekend, one of the festival’s three premieres!
This year’s research residency SPRUNGBRETT <> TANZRECHERCHE NRW stipendiaries will also share their results. Following on the resounding impact of the 2021 online edition, 17 digital works will be represented on the online festival platform.
