About Yasmeen Godder

The works by Israeli choreographer Yasmeen Godder have long been circling around the field of encounter and emotional connections – among acquaintances and strangers. The starting point for this perceptive exploratory work always lay within her artistic practice in which dance and choreography as a medium play a central part. From Thu 30.09. –  Sat 02.10. Yasmeen Godder presents two parts of the Practicing Empathy trilogy on three evenings.  #2 by 2, the second part of this trilogy, is a participatory experience that explores how physical experiences can be shared with others. In the Artist Workshop: # 2 by 2 on Thu, 30.09., Yasmeen Godder, together with her company's dancers, shares her practice with the participants and provides background knowledge. The workshop participants can then work together on Thu 30.09. and Sat 02.10. stand on the big stage as part of the performance.
