Dance like nobody's watching
Dancing makes you happy, it brings people together, lets us forget our everyday worries and recharges us with energy and power. On up to two occasions per month, tanzhaus nrw opens its Foyer to those who simply want to dance everything away. We invite our neighbours, visitors, participants, and everyone else who feels like it to make tanzhaus nrw their own, apart from the dance classes and the performance visit, and to interrupt the daily routine through dance – in a shared space beyond consumerism and self-optimisation. We will dance everything away from 3 pm to 5 pm, to start the weekend or to return to our individual to do’s afterwards.

seren.a is an electronic artist and sound engineer from Düsseldorf.
As co-founder and DJ of the all-female collective Get Over It, she pioneers the representation of queer women on stage and behind the decks in Germany. After playing (classical) guitar for 20 years she switched to hardware synths to orchestrate her own soundscapes. She is composing music for dance and theatre productions.
As a DJ she serves a juicy blend of 90s rave driven hardtechno and house beats, sprinkled with hyperpop.
02.12. A2iCE & BO3
A2iCE & BO3 are known as a DJ duo for fast, driving and genre-crossing sound. In their sets, the two bring unexpected tunes and twists, fast mixes and energetic grooves. Jana came to DJing through her step father who was a Frankfurt-loving Trance-DJ back in the days, while Lex started out as a 16 yr old boy with a crack for fruity loops. Characterized by bass, techno, breakbeat and jungle from all over the world, the two deliver a highly energetic output, as they don’t want to be bound to a certain sound or range. In their everyday life, the two are a media and sound artist duo, which is always manifested in the selection of their tunes – so every mix tells its own story.
