To the rousing sounds of Elektro Hafız we start into the first party night of the anniversary festival. The groove of the Cologne-based musician gets everyone moving sooner or later. In the space between the genres of psychedelic and punk, Elektro Hafız's open, experimental and exciting understanding of music is evident. His diverse compositions are influenced by his Istanbul roots and shaped by the electric saz and the electric guitar, the instruments that form the center of his contrasting compositions. For many years, Elektro Hafız has successfully toured the international metropolises, bringing together talented saz players from all over Europe.
