Lucy and Raedie are mother and son. Both love singer Sia VERY MUCH. They love her music, her videos, and, most of all, her hair. They love the way the hair moves in a chopped, black-on-platinum parting. So, the duo decided to develop their own performance based on the iconic movements of the Australian pop superstar. So, Sia becomes a catalyst to explore the relation between a son and his mother. This is about the experience of a relational dynamism unfolding between a supposedly grown-up mother and her son, between a woman and a boy and, lastly, between an artistic duo.

This energetic, artistic work unveils the inherent narcissism of maternity and how this becomes a permanent burden for the child, having repercussions into adult age. On stage, past and present in Lucy’s and Raedie’s relationship close ranks, thus employing a new dynamic.

Prepare for a singing and dancing adventure of rejection and care, for an interplay of hurt and trust, of disappointment and dependency, yet also for transformation and growth processes.
