Fabien Prioville picks up the frenzy in the widths of the net for his new work – the trauma of virtual loneliness and the simultaneousness of movements. He examined streaming formats and our behaviour and, respectively, our self-presentation in them during the COVID19 pandemic. 2Sides links the physical performance with its digital live recording, while also colliding them. A highly complex choreography emerges, simultaneously controlling the livestream, because the dancers are wearing body cams, determining different perspectives in real time. The piece toys with senses of entitlement and expectation, regarding both the four performers as well as the audience, broaching the issue of liveness, often understood to be a matter of course, elevated to the status of a primary definitional feature in the performing arts.

Duration: 60 min.
