SOMBRA EFIMERA II
With this project, Eduardo Guerrero and his collaborators deepen the relation between dance and space. How the body breaks out and gives up, pushes and gives in, rushes and flies. The perfectly delineated stage space is inhabited by bodies, voices, and guitars, and it tells of the traces of other lives with the aid of different pieces of clothing; it serves as a metaphor for self-reflection and the memory of ourselves. Eduardo Guerrero will be accompanied by Ibañez Corrales’ guitar playing and singing, provided by Manuel Soto Contreras and Samara Montañez Romero.
In his works, Eduardo Guerrero combines flamenco as an expressive form with the flamenco palos that permeate this piece: Pregones, taranto, tango, romance, seguiriya, fandango, and the Bulería por soleá. The dancer and choreographer has specialised in entering fruitful synergies, and in combining his flamenco performances with other arts and disciplines.
