Karla, Ändi, Arthur

Tanzfuchs PRODUKTION / Barbara Fuchs
Studio 6
Dates
03.12.2021 – 06.12.2021
Zwei Performer*innen und ein Hund kuscheln gemeinsam.

An audio dance play for two bipeds and four paws, for everyone aged 5 and up

Barking and singing. Fur-covered stones and furry flowers. A breeze goes here, an odour comes from over there. There is much to see, to hear, and to feel in Karla’s, Ändi’s, and Arthur’s world. Each of the three does it in their own way: Karla sees with her knee, Ändi is better at it with his nose, and Arthur prefers to look good. Apart from this, Karla is older than Ändi and Arthur, Ändi has four legs instead of two, and Arthur is the only one with dark hair. But Ändi can drum with his tail, Karla knows how to dress, and Arthur knows how to move. In this world, humans and dogs are alike: It does not matter if you are a biped or a quadruped, old or young, wear fur or skin – snuggling, kissing, belly rubbing, dancing or watching the stars, everything is at its best if you are in a threesome.
Choreographer Barbara Fuchs, composer Jörg Ritzenhoff and dancer Arthur Schopa were introduced to a new world by Karla Faßbender and her guide dog Ändi. It is not the world Ändi leads Karla through, but rather a realm in which all senses become equal. Follow Karla, Ändi and Arthur into this world!
