Urban dance creatives actively advance their art form, yet, despite the fact that they develop their own formats, and the fact that Germany boasts a vast urban dance scene, there is a lack in specific places to go, of financed experimental spaces that foster an enduring strengthening of urban dance creations. tanzhaus nrw announced urban residencies for 2021, as part of the TANZPAKT RECONNECT support to consolidate and secure the future of structures in dance, as part of the framework of the Urban Empowerment Project. Within this, dance creatives with ties to North Rhine-Westphalia were provided with an opportunity to go deeper into existing projects or to try out new concepts, all while receiving mentoring. Following up on these urban residencies with Urbane Residenz - Insights, nutrospektif now invite you to be there when they shine a light on the importance of experimental spaces while providing insight into the research processes of residents Johann Bae, Lisa Lamprecht and Bernd Pierre Louis. In addition, there will be the opportunity to ask questions online via livestream.
