Where is your fire?
Conceptual artist Nathalie Anguezomo Mba Bikoro combines installations, radio sounds, live performances, film and archive productions in her work. In it, she analyses the processes of power and fiction in archives that take a critical stance on issues of migration, developing environments for untold narratives of resistance movements of African women and indigenous communities. Embedded in those narratives, one finds testimony from nature sound archives, queer ecologies, and post-colonial case accounts. A part of this work supports the Home Sweet Home project of the Flingern Stadtteilladen (Diakonie Düsseldorf). The project provides two counselling services and offerings for groups from West Africa “(“Efie and Efie”) and East Africa (“Habesha”) that facilitate the arrival in Düsseldorf.
