I am here. I am invisible. I am more than you think. I strive to find the right words. I challenge my surroundings. I am the tattoo on your shoulder. I am sick of the question “what happened to you?”.
Cie BewegGrund, a Swiss group featuring dancers both disabled and non-disabled, invites you to enter the complex world of disability through their performance “ONE AT A TIME”. Following the physical principle of the chain reaction, the seven performers create group dynamics wherein individualities remain while merging into one collective body. The reciprocity between the performers, the theatre space and the audience makes differences visible as well as invisible, shifting them into the spotlight and out of it.
