Young artists Alexander Rechberg, Eleonora Siavara and Charlotte Triebus work on current projects on dance, virtuality and new technologies within their residency. In “zweiheit”, Alexander Rechberg positions laser and dance in a new reference. He conducts, in improvisatory practice, a dialogue with different media in which body, sound and light meet. “Acting Spheres” is an installation performance featuring two performers and 20 intelligent objects. In the piece, Charlotte Triebus deals with the communication between humans and technology as well as with transformation processes of movements in bodies. In “The Body and the Other”, Eleonora Siarava creates a choreographic installation for two dancers about the multiple body as physical, digital and hybrid physicalness. Within this scenography, she explores to what extent a performance may develop its own life with a distinct autonomous choreographic dramaturgy.

A production as part of Bündnis internationaler Produktionshäuser, funded by Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien. “The Body and the Other” is a collaboration between Eleonora Siarava and the MIREVI Team from Hochschule Düsseldorf, co-funded by the NRW KULTURsekretariat, the Ministry of Culture and Science of the state of NRW and i-Portunus project/Creative Europe.
