A feminist guide to nerdom

Who works how, with what means and in what context? What does feminism mean as political and artistic practice? Frankfurt collective Swoosh Lieu shows part of its audio-visual online archive “A feminist guide to nerdom” in a video installation. In it, they collect modes of operation, methods and strategies from the fields of performance and media art, documenting discussion with other feminist artists. Because Feminist Nerdom also means to question traditional connections of gender roles and areas of work with a queer-feminist approach, re-arranging them.
