Every tap dancer knows it: the Shim Sham, in a way the national anthem of tap. But do you already know the "version" by Carnell Lyons? Learn it with Kurt Albert in this workshop special! Kurt Albert's mentor tap veteran Carnell Lyons was a native of Kansas City Missouri became famous in Chicago with his step trio "Businessmen of Rhythm" and reached the heights of American show business with his trio "Jesse James & Cornell (Vegas, Radio City Music Hall etc). Kurt is a specialist in Carnell's choreographies which are characterized by their extraordinary authenticity and originality (Kansas City Street Style). In the workshop Kurt shows Carnell's Kansas City -Boogie Shim Sham which Carnell danced in the early 30's with the "Businessmen of Rhythm".
