Bachata Connection & Musicality Intensive

Workshop with Sergio Emilio

This workshop is aimed at dancers who want to deepen their connection in couple dancing and interpret music more consciously. The focus is on connection, leadership & following, musical understanding and communication between the dance partners. The participants learn to implement movements more naturally and to apply their musicality specifically in social dancing.

Registration for this course is only possible in pairs.
The course fee shown is per person.

Sergio Emilio ist in Peru, aufgewachsen und lebt seit vielen Jahren in Deutschland. Seine tänzerische Entwicklung wurde durch internationale Workshops sowie professionelle Aus- und Weiterbildungen für Tänzer*innen und Tanzlehrer*innen in Peru, Kuba, Spanien, den USA etc. geprägt. Neben Bachata tanzt er auch Salsa (L.A., Cubana und Caleña), Kizomba und Cumbia. In seinem Unterricht verbindet Sergio traditionelle und moderne Elemente der Bachata mit Fokus auf Technik, Musikalität, Connection und Social Dancing. Dabei geht es nicht nur um Figuren oder Kombinationen, sondern vor allem um das Verständnis für Bewegung, Führung & Folgen sowie die Verbindung zwischen den Tanzpartner*innen.
