An introduction to classical ballet

Workshop with Alfonso Bordi

Alfonso Bordi's ballet classes are influenced by the Balanchine method. George Balanchine was a pioneering representative of neoclassical ballet and brought the tradition of Russian ballet to the United States, where he co-founded the New York City Ballet. Typical features include fast and precise footwork and legwork. Alfonso lays a solid foundation in his classes and carefully and realistically introduces participants to the complexity of the movement system of classical dance.
