Online workshop from 14:00 – 17:00
For adults who care about a power-critical coexistence with young people

Adultism describes the unequal power relationship between adults and children and young people in society. How does this affect schools, theatre as well as dance projects? Using theatre-based methods, we would like to address the following questions in this online workshop: How was I treated unfairly as a child because of my age? How would I like to see intersectional power differences dealt with, and how do I shape this in my own educational practice today? How can collaborations between children, young people and adults be designed in a way that is critical of adultism? In addition to raising awareness of inequality, the aim is also to explore the creative potential of adultism-critical practice and to develop initial shared visions and strategies for a more generationally equitable future.
