Apart from the performances, tanzhaus nrw offers a production and rehearsal venue for artists. The productions will eventually be shown on the tanzhaus nrw stage at a later date. Interested visitors are given the opportunity to directly experience the artists’ work and their production processes during a visit to an open rehearsal. Reduced capacity. Anger, Android, Ritual. Motherhood. In her latest work ELECTRAS,  choreographer Reut Shemesh and her team conjure the figure of the mother as a hybrid of a dragon, cyborg, and a nourisher: fierce and resilient, unapologetic and often tired. A body of contradictions: exhausted yet unstoppable, fragile yet unyielding.

The premiere of ELECTRAS will take place on Friday, 21 November at tanzhaus nrw.
