Urban Dance Sessions

tanzhaus nrw opens its foyer for urban dance cultures. The Urban Dance Sessions will be shaped by and for the urban community. They are open to everyone and are intended as spaces for collective training, jam sessions, and as a platform with a focus on sharing practical knowledge, on meetings as well as on mutual exchange. Urban dance cultures are marked by a multi-faceted and individual historiography that oftentimes includes eviction from public squares and urban spaces. The Urban Dance Sessions offer resources and empowerment as they ensure visibility as well as recognition.
