Showing Artist In Residence

For seven days, and based on the physical contrast between excitement and boredom, this year’s resident artists Ayesha Zangaro and Fernando Flesh from Brazil examine the contradiction between different physical states, muscular tensions, movements in space and rhythmical sequences that may emerge from different surroundings, sound volumes, and subjective emotions.

They are accompanied by Josh Hilberman and dramaturges who are at their side in advisory capacities. Now they will present their results, and they will also be available for an audience talk afterwards.

We would like to support opportunities, for tap dance artists to sketch out initial ideas and possible structures for additional works, a resource unfortunately barely available at the moment, therefore contributing to the strengthening and future safeguarding of current tap dance culture.
