Things are objects of great fascination. Everyday kitchen aids are often as exciting for children to explore as their colourful toys. What would it look like if this world of things came to life, to dance, to sound? tanzfuchs PRODUKTION dedicates DINGSBUMS to the metallic everyday aids in the kitchen, transforming them into a clanking orchestra: It rattles and rings, it clacks and jumps, spins around and dances. Familiar items suddenly develop a life of their own, becoming co-dancers, a mirror image. The three performers investigate, feel, experience this world of things – and they connect with them: They become extensions of their bodies, disappearing under the clothes. Things, humans, and movements magically meld, creating entirely new hybrid creatures.
