Vibes

The idea behind the “Vibes” app gestated during the 2018 Lyon “Dansathon”, a trade meeting for dance and new technologies. The app was developed there and went on to win the first prize. “Vibes” is a choreography- and sound-based meeting-app, enabling its users to dance together in one place – akin to a flash mob – whilst occupying the respective space. Equipped with headphones and with directions given by choreographer Éric Minh Cuong Castaing’s voice, the audience turns into dancers and becomes part of an individual and collective movement.
