Digital Future in Theatre, Funding and Education
Artistic work processes and those by institutions accompanying, supporting or representing them are shaped by the impact of digitisation. How do cultural institutions react to this, and how can they turn into trailblazers for new developments? This question arises not only regarding the changes brought on by new forms of communication and modes of expression through digital technology entering the field. We also need to ask which institutional and structural steps will become necessary in anticipation of coming developments. In the talks, representatives of cultural institutions education and the arts come together to redraw and redefine areas of action.
With Friedrich Kirschner (professor for Digital Media in Puppet Theatre at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch, Berlin) and Marcus Lobbes (director and head of Akademie für Theater & Digitalität, Dortmund) among others. Moderation: Christian Römer.
