Bouni is primarily at home in urban styles. He specialises in funk and hip hop techniques, which he has been teaching participants at tanzhaus nrw since 2016. He has won numerous battles and has been involved in various productions. As a dancer and choreographer, he explored the technologisation of humans on stage at tanzhaus nrw in his piece The Anthropomorph as part of the artistic format Urban Double Bill. Together with Takao Baba, he brought martial arts and urban dance culture together in a stage production Die Gelbe Seite. He also works on numerous projects at institutions for kids and teens. For Bouni, hip hop is not just about learning choreography, but about understanding the spirit behind it and becoming part of a community. His classes guarantee the promotion of musical understanding and the enjoyment of dance: ‘Enjoy and feel the groove!’
