Contemporary Dance/ Floorwork to get to know

In the course, the focus will be on learning the basic movements of the contemporary floorwork technique. Step by step, individual figures and movements of this technique will be learned on the floor and with the floor. Little by little, these basic movements will then be slowly put together to form small, flowing combinations. Even participants who have no experience with this technique need not be afraid of overly acrobatic figures. The main focus will be on making the floor your own, i.e. learning to use it properly, to integrate it correctly into the movements and to be able to work your own body into the floor in a healthy and flowing way.
In addition to floor work, exercises and smaller sequences that do not take place on the floor will also be learned, moving upright through the space.
The course will also invite you to move freely and musically within the exercises and small choreographies. The participants should get a feeling for their individual physical possibilities with which they can acquire movement.
