BGirl Luisa
This is not real is an exploration of our primal fears and examines the question of what we might find if we were to peer into the darkest corners of our imagination.
Giulia Maretti
CALIGO is the light fog that creates over the ocean, with the meeting of warm air and cold water. A thin surface which gives a feeling of suspension and confusion. Caligo sometimes is around us, where we are floating in a state of unbalance, feeling temporarily lost. But is beyond that fear that comes the sensation of freedom, and maybe what we need, is to get lost to find our path.
JuJu
Building on established visual cultures, female energy explores the body perceived as female in dance. In doing so, it examines the question of what femininity means.
What social expectations and demands shape it, and how can it be performed beyond these, based on one’s own desires and experiences?
Talking Streetz
Talking Streetz is a dance-based exploration of hip-hop and its personal significance. The focus is on how each individual experiences and feels hip-hop, and uses it as an expression of their own identity.
Project leaders: Alen Fischer and Rymon Zacharei
Ruby & Alen
I.dentify is a dance production exploring personal development, presence and the power of movement. Starting with questions such as “Why do we get nervous when we are being watched?” or “Why do we dance?”, the piece follows young female dancers on their personal and artistic journeys. The production combines choreography with reflection, bringing to light experiences of courage, insecurity, change and the search for one’s own form of expression. The focus is not on perfection, but on the dancers’ authentic presence and on dance as a space for self-confidence, clarity and expression.
DJ F-ZEE
F-ZEE is a DJ from Düsseldorf and also no stranger, he has already DJed for e.g. Snipes and RedBull. He was also on tour with the famous German rapper KC Rebell. Currently he is on the road with the Ruff Comedy. F-ZEE is strongly represented in the urban battle dance scene and works in this context also regularly at tanzhaus nrw.
