lu biondi: in sterquilinis invenitur / en la suciedad, se encontrará
I dreamt that I grew a shell. That the skin on my back had calcified into a lump and I was tasked to carry this weight for the rest of my life…
My move to Düsseldorf in early 2025 was an act of survival, seeking refuge from a place that hardened me emotionally, physically, and spiritually. At tanzhaus nrws 2025 summer residency, I created a ritualistic performance exploring the process of adaptation and transformation using a shell to represent these ongoing changes.

With a B.S. in Health Science and a B.F.A. in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University, their artistic practice tends to combine research, community collaboration and diverse creative mediums in order to challenge limiting structures and nurture sustainable futures.
Ludmilla Schemak: The missed train
Between railway tracks and an interrogation room unfolds a play of order and deviation. A figure who does not fit the plan is questioned, accused, observed. Through elements of acting and Waacking, moments of resistance emerge within the rigid beat of the rules.

Her artistry is rooted in street- and club styles like HipHop and Waacking which she likes to mix with screen and stage acting. As a freelance dance educator she works with all ages in her classes, workshops and on stage productions with themes of self discovery and purpose. Her portfolio includes ‚panta rhei‘ at Landestheater Salzburg, ‚Women Adjacent‘ at the International English Library in Düsseldorf and the award-winning short film ‚Beyond the Trees‘ by Fiona Leonard.

Nadine Kribbe: Meet me at// Jahrmarkt der Innereien (AT)
Forever tired and jumping from one to the other – if I had to sum it up.
In this solo research, figures of workers from past, present, and a life that may never be encounter each other. They meet between their worlds of visibilities and performativities, in their dreams and harsh realities.
A tribute to people who get their hands dirty for you. Or do we do it together?
This Solo is a continuation of Summer Residency 25 at Tanzhaus NRW.
Nadine Kribbe studies dance at ZZT Cologne and works as a freelance dancer and dance educator, among other things. Nadine's artistic interest lies in transdisciplinary work on biographical sections somewhere between social work and construction sites.

Tabea Jung: Project G2 or Post Traumatic Femtasy
An intimate duet explores how female desire can be made visible and reimagined after centuries of suppression. The body becomes palpably a bearer of history and a place of resistance.
