Invocation

This year’s edition of the Flamenco Festival enables artistic research and exploration as part of a residency. Up-and-coming artist Carmen Muñoz has been invited to tanzhaus nrw to continue her work in which she looks on flamenco and dance history from a feminist perspective. She provides insight into her ideas during her showing of Invocation and shares the progress of her work with the audience. Her guest performance Bailes de histéricas marks her first time as part of the festival programme.
