Showings Residency Programme

For seven days, international tap dance artists will be working on new plays, topics, and questions they want to examine, or they will intensify their work on existing and not yet refined ideas. They will be accompanied by mentors and dramaturges, who will be at their side in an advisory capacity. The artists will then show their results in the form of showings during the festival.

It is the purpose of this programme to support the opportunities, currently scarcely available for tap artists, to sketch out ideas and develop structures for further works, thereby contributing to a strengthening and a future perspective for the current tap dance culture. The participating artists answered to an open call and have subsequently been selected to take part.
