Collective nutrospektif, in collaboration with tanzhaus nrw, would like to invite urban dance creatives to an exchange on urban dance styles in stage contexts, within the Netzwerktreffen – Urbaner Tanz auf der Bühne (Network Meeting – Urban Dance on Stage) series, started in 2020.
Urban dance productions have long been visible in theatres and cultural institutions all over Germany. Yet despite the efforts by the actors within urban dance to actively advance their art form, creating productions, there is neither a specific advocacy nor an exchange platform to bolster networking and enduring, mutual empowerment. We intend to change this with this network meeting! nutrospektif would like to begin a communal dialogue about individual and collective experiences with the urban scene and everyone else who is interested. The network meetings provide a space to discuss related processes, obstacles, and progress, and to create new perspectives together. Following the two previously held digital network meetings, nutrospektif now invite you to receive insight into the core points of the as-yet talked-about topics, and to enter discussions with the panel guests Jonas Frey, Kadir „Amigo“ Memiş and Sophie Yukiko at the Network Panel – Urbaner Tanz auf der Bühne.
