In einem großen, hell erleuchteten Raum mit hohen Fenstern und unverputzten Backsteinwänden stehen mehrere Personen in lockerer Formation im Kreis. Die meisten tragen legere, sportliche Kleidung wie weite Hosen, Kapuzenpullover und T-Shirts. Einige Personen haben die Arme verschränkt oder hinter dem Rücken verschränkt, eine Person hält sich die Hände an den Kopf. Die Szene vermittelt den Eindruck einer Gruppendiskussion oder Vorbereitung, passend zum Kontext eines Cypher Events.

The Breaking Cypher Session (BCS) was launched in 2025 by our breaking instructor Chanti and takes place regularly in Studio 3. Here, people from different generations come together, share ideas, inspire one another, and keep the culture alive. Whether you’ve been doing this for a long time or are just getting started—everyone is welcome.

Here’s how the session works:

  • The first 30 minutes feature a brief discussion on various topics related to breaking and the culture behind it.
  • After that, it’s off to the cypher for 2 hours—time to dance and connect.
  • All dance styles are welcome!

The BCS sees itself as a community event organized by volunteers that aims to create a space for exchange, inspiration, and the sharing of cultural values.
