Edward, a hamster, wants to escape from the hamster wheel. He develops various methods of resistance – would a conscious energy saving as done by sloths help him, or does it absolutely need the hunger strike?

Do you believe that resistance can contribute to the changing of things in your life? What would you currently rebel against? And is your resistance louder or rather more silent?

The artistic team around Josep Caballero García believes it is high time for resistance when “no” and “stop” eno longer get heard. For Warum auch Hamster schlafen, they asked young people when they have their moments of resistance. In a joyful musical dance performance, the young people’s voices become audible, and the audience in the room immediately becomes a part of it.

Josep Caballero García is a performer, dancer, choreographer, and a member of collective _vielleicht_regen. For ages 10 and up.

Duration: 60 mins.
