Grün

A floral dance and song play for everyone aged 3 and up.

Do we humans have something in common with plants? At first glance, we seem to be very different, yet precise observation reveals many common traits: We grow, breathe, need sun and liquids, communicate, and we connect, and we depend on one another. What does the breathing of a plant sound like? What about the rhythm when plants move? What does it sound like when they touch? Do they speak to each other? Grün, with two dancers and one singer, sets out to search for the parallels between humans and plants, researching their manner of movements and unfolding. Composer Jörg Ritzenhoff takes us into the sound realm of plants and shapes an experience out of their growth sounds. Together with the performers, the audience dives into the plant cosmos.
Grün reflects the human relationship to the plant world. How do we perceive the green world of plants? Where can we still find Green? By the way, the Grün project is also a ‘green‘ production, dedicated to sustainability in the work process.
