Tap Dance

Course with Yaroslav Ros

Inspired by the major trends in tap dance - Harlem, Broadway and Hollywood - we create our own choreographies and invent stories for the stage. As the American dancer and actor Gregory Hines once said: “The great secret of tap is that we adopt the movements of others.” By adopting their movements, we connect with our predecessors, with all the dance stars we love and admire in films and on stage.  And at the same time, every new theatrical creation tells its own story, every movement is filled with the meaning that we ourselves give it. This is what we will work on: letting the enormous flow of energy circulate between the audience and the stage through dance narratives.
