Nir De Volff completed his dance training at the Bat Dor Hochschule in Tel Aviv. He danced for different companies in Tel Aviv and performed on the Israel tour of Pina Bausch’s Victor. Following his move to Europe he worked with Jan Pusch, Les Ballets C. de la B., Cristine de Smedt and with the production company danswerkplaats (DWA) in Amsterdam, with whose support he created own productions. At the end of 2003 he moved to Berlin and joined the company of Constanza Macras. In 2004 he founded TOTAL BRUTAL and developed the triology "Dolly", which was shown in Prague, Amsterdam and Berlin. Since then he has been working with a multitude of artists and venues.
