A practice on live communication between two or more performers executing set movement propositions will be shared. This will include a variety of materials from a performance “Satikt” (IevaKrish, 2020). Movement of “Satikt” consists of two part (two voice) advanced rhythm patterns performed as complimentary side by side dancing. Concept of material of “Satikt” is borrowed and transmitted to dance from Lithuanian Sutartines hymn singing practice.
“Communication is content” is a term somewhat borrowed from visual artist Olafur Eliasson (“Contact is content”) and for artist duo IevaKrish describes a practice where communication between a performer, a space, members of audience and another performer is highlighted and becomes the content of the experience.
