Open Rehearsals
Apart from the performances, tanzhaus nrw offers a production and rehearsal venue for artists. The productions will eventually be shown on the tanzhaus nrw stage at a later date. Interested visitors are given the opportunity to directly experience the artists’ work and their production processes during a visit to an open rehearsal.

Senzenberger|rieck: A DANCE ROUTINE
senzenberger|rieck conduct research at the intertwining of contemporary dance and dance in pop culture or, respectively, in social media. In their duet, the artists work with the friction of body and performativity of gender, sexuality, and might, probing for methods of intimacy and power in playful and archival experiment. A dance that liquefies ascribed, projected, and passed-on roles, constantly fluctuating between the digital and the analogue.
