Ballet and Creative Dance

Course with Tereza Matos

Classroom classes will only take place live with students at the tanzhaus. If it is no longer possible to continue the face-to-face classes due to pandemic restrictions, the remaining dates would be cancelled.

“Ballet always provided stability in my life. I would like to pass this and other dance experiences on.” Terza Matos has been teaching children, youths and adults at tanzhaus nrw since 2010 already. Her focus lies on learning the technique, because “it is the tool used to give expression to emotion and meaning in dance”. Tereza’s open nature makes it easy for dancers to take a plunge into the world of ballet. Her classes prepare the body for the complex ballet training, participants learning steps and choreographic sequences. Concentration and presence are also part of the training, and it is especially important that the participants have the opportunity to excel and grow.
