Nir de Volff

Nir De Volff completed his dance training at the Bat Dor Hochschule in Tel Aviv. He danced for different companies in Tel Aviv and performed on the Israel tour of Pina Bausch’s Victor. Following his move to Europe he worked with Jan Pusch, Les Ballets C. de la B., Cristine de Smedt and with the production company danswerkplaats (DWA) in Amsterdam, with whose support he created own productions. At the end of 2003 he moved to Berlin and joined the company of Constanza Macras. In 2004 he founded TOTAL BRUTAL and developed the triology "Dolly", which was shown in Prague, Amsterdam and Berlin. Since then he has been working with a multitude of artists and venues. www.totalbrutal.net

Edwin Mota

Edwin Mota completed his education at the School of American Ballet. He was 1st solo dancer at the Royal Ballet de Flandres, then at the Birmingham Royal Ballet. He instructed the Ensemble Pretty Ugly under the direction of Amanda Miller in Cologne and many others.

Julio César Iglesias Ungo

Julio studied at the National Dance Academy Cuban contemporary dance and was a member of the national dance company. He works as a dancer with numerous companies in Europe, Cuba and Latin America, most recently with Samir Akika/Unusual Symptoms, Ultima Vez in Brussels and Renegade in Bochum. He also creates his own energetic choreographies and is a highly recommanded teacher.

Claudia Iglesias Ungo

Claudia Iglesias Ungo ist in Havanna, Cuba, aufgewachsen und schloss dort ihr Tanzstudium an der National Art School (ENA) in Havanna ab. Nach ihrem Abschluss tanzte sie für Danza Contemporanea de Cuba u.a. in Stücken von Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola, Gregor Cespedes, Jan Lienkens, Rafael Boachela, Mats Ek und Ana Laguna. 2012 siedelte sie nach Deutschland über und tanzte bis 2015 bei Samir Akikas „Unusual Symptoms“ am Theater Bremen. Es folgten Engagements bei Susanne Linke, David Hernandez, Alexis Fernandes und aktuelle bei Julio César Igleasias Ungo, in dessen neuer Produktion „The Hidden Door“ sie auch im tanzhaus nrw zu erleben sein wird.
